The “S” Family Portraits at the Davis General Store

I got to meet this family for the first time this past year.  I was pretty excited right off the bat that they chose the location they did.  A friend helped me discover this place last year and it sort of became my own little outdoor studio.  I am in love with anything from the good ‘ole days and this place is the definition of the good ‘ole days… love everything about it!

Back to this sweet family…  these boys were so much fun.  All over the place?  Sure… but that’s actually a pretty normal day in the life of Stacey Lanier Photography.  🙂  Honestly, that makes for the most successful sessions!  It tends to lead to more natural reactions and personalities coming through.  What do I always say?  “Let your life shine through”?  Well, I think they did in these images.

We’ll start with big brother.  I thought this one was going to be a tough one to crack… a little serious at first!  But a little game of freeze tag got him going…

Sweet boy…

Now, this one showed us his silly side right away.  My goodness, those eyes and that smile!

Maybe it’s because I have two girls of my own, but there is nothing sweeter than two siblings showing eachother some love… or just sharing some giggles.  I could watch it all day long.
