So, I got the idea from the sweetest group of 4 year old girls at one of my preschools last year…. I was taking their individual pictures and they just HAD to have their picture taken together. It turned out SO cute! These little girls… with their arms around each other, laughing. I knew immediately that I had to do something similar for Reese! So, Summer is here… Reese finished Kindergarten… and we got a few of her classmates and best friends together for a little session. I am in love with them! These 3 bring out the silliest in my sweet 6 (soon to be 16) year old baby girl.

We went into the session with lots of ideas… some happened… some didn’t.

Get four 6 year old girlfriends together and ANYTHING is possible.  🙂  But, if you just sit back and let things happen, that’s when you capture them and their joy.

The end of Kindergarten came with a bit of emotion for me… and Reese.  I feel like we were just walking her in for her first day, meeting her teacher who turned out to be the best we could ask for.  And, to see her build these friendships, thrive and learn as much as she has this year, has been so fun to see.  I’m so thankful for Reese to have built these friendships and for their awesome moms that I have grown close to in the process.  I couldn’t be happier about the community that we are a part of.  So, on that note, happy Summer!
