The “H” Family – North Carolina Farm Family Portraits

As you know, I love a place with a bit of history and character, which is why the Davis General Store has been one of my favorite go-to spot for my family sessions.

So, when a family requested a session at their family farm (Hunting Creek Farms), I was secretly jumping for joy! Green grass as far as the eyes can see, winding dirt roads lined by dark wooden fences, and so much more that you won’t see in the pictures to follow… including a white three-story farmhouse built in the mid 1800’s and a team of 8 Clydesdale horses. There is also a 9,000 sf banquet facility where weddings and other events are held throughout the year.

But on this day, it was the site of our family session with the H family. They are such a sweet, fun and genuine family. And, if those two baby girls have half as much energy as big sister, they are in for some crazy fun times! I am so grateful to have been able to spend this time with them in this beautiful place and capture this time in their family’s life.
